For 50 years, our family workshop in Sunrise has restored furniture for homeowners across Fort Lauderdale, Parkland, Boca Raton, and all of Broward County. We don't just replace fabric — we strip pieces down to the bare frame, rebuild them with hand-tied springs and high-density foam, and bring them back better than the day they were made.
The same craftsmanship the Marriott, Hard Rock, and Loews trust for their commercial spaces — applied to the piece you love most.
It's the most common question we hear. Here's the honest answer:
If you're comparing our work to a $1,200 sectional from a big-box store, buying new will always be cheaper upfront. But that big-box sofa is built with low-density foam that flattens within two years, engineered wood (particleboard) that warps in Florida humidity, and stapled joints designed to fail in 3 to 5 years.
A properly reupholstered sofa with a solid hardwood frame is built to last 25 to 50 years. The frame itself is often better than anything made today. The only parts that wear out are the fabric and foam — which is exactly what we replace.
So the real comparison isn't $1,200 vs. $4,500. It's $1,200 every 5 years vs. $4,500 every 30 years.
We tell clients to consider reupholstery when:
If even one of those applies, reupholstery is almost always the smarter long-term investment.
While many local shops only offer slipcovers or loose-cushion replacements, we specialize in technical, labor-intensive work:
Most reupholstery projects in South Florida run between $2,500 and $6,500, depending on the piece and the fabric you choose:
Premium leather, intricate tufting, and high-end fabric mills (the same ones we source for Marriott and Hard Rock) move pricing higher. Standard performance fabrics keep it lower.
Every quote is free, no obligation. Send us a photo of your piece and we'll give you a real number — usually within 24 hours.
Most projects are completed in 7 to 14 days once your fabric arrives. Larger sectionals, intricate tufting, or custom-built banquettes may take 3 to 4 weeks.
Fabric sourcing usually adds 2 to 3 weeks before the actual work begins, so most homeowners can expect their finished piece back in their home within 4 to 6 weeks total.
We're not the cheapest option — and we don't try to be. Here's what you get when you work with us:
